Знакомимся с расширениями для плат Arduino («шилдами»). Какие бывают Shield-ы и для чего они предназначены.

Для чего нужны платы расширения Arduino?

Плат расширения для Arduino существует огромное множество. Они необходимы для решения частных задач, встающих перед разработчиком. Примерами могут являться модули для передачи данных через Ethernet-интерфейс или Wi-Fi, передача данных через радиоинтерфейс, управление двигателями и многое другое.

Платы расширения устанавливаются на плату Arduino, образуя «бутерброд». Можно устанавливать несколько плат одновременно. Главное, чтобы они не конфликтовали между собой.

Модуль Arduino Sensor V5.0 позволяет подключать различные устройства, предназначенные для Arduino.

Плата имеет кнопку сброса. На ней находится большое количество портов для подключения дисплеев. 14 выводов для параллельного подключения ЖК-дисплеев и 6 выводов для последовательного подключения.

Также присутствуют 4 выхода для подключения интерфейса I2C, что крайне удобно.

Есть 12 пинов (как и у Arduino) для подключения датчиков, рядом линии питания и земли и 6 выводов для интерфейса Bluetooth. А еще 6 аналоговых выводов с питанием и землей.

Контакты APC220 предназначены для подключения внешнего WI-FI.

На плате есть 2 клемника для подключения внешнего питания.

Proto Shield

Данный модуль неспроста называется «Proto» — от слова «прототип». Это означает, что на базе этого шилда можно создавать несчетное множество новых плат расширения.

Подключается он крайне просто: надеваем его на плату Arduino и все готово.

Одним из примеров использования Proto Shield является Метеошилд — устанавливаем датчики влажности и температуры и получаем переносную метеостанцию. Или же установливаем маленький дисплей и кнопки и получаем дисплей-шилд.

Плата расширения Sensor Shield V5.0 для Arduino позволяет подключать различные сенсоры и дополнительные модули. Задняя сторона платы расширения имеет пины для подключения к флагманскому семейству Ардуино, имеет кнопку перезагрузки, а так же клеммы для подключения внешнего питания. SD card interface предназначен для подключения модуля карты памяти, первый выход имеет обозначение «+», остальные по порядку ( VCC, GND, D11, D10, D13, D12). Это полезно для подключения карты памяти, на которую будет записываться работа устройства, показания сенсоров.

· Ultrasonic interface предназначен для подключения ультразвукового датчика. Он обозначается на плате буквами URF01, первый вывод обозначается «+», остальные по порядку (VCC, A0, A1, GND). Ультразвуковой датчик используется на автомобиле для определения расстояния до препятствий.

· Power interface interface предназначен для подключения внешнего питания. Напряжение внешнего питания должно быть 5 вольт. Дополнительное питание необходимо в случае, когда на шилд подключено много периферийных модулей.

· Analog IO ports

(интерфейс контактов, которые могут работать как вход или выход) обозначаются A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 и имеют по три контакта, обозначенных V (питание), G (минус), S (сигнал). Всего шесть выходов.

· Digital IO ports (интерфейс цифровых контактов) они могут работать как вход и выход. Обозначены 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, GND, AREF. Каждый порт имеет по три контакта, обозначенных VCC, GND, Signal. Вывод AREF – это опорное напряжение для аналоговых входов. Всего колодка цифровых выходов позволяет подключить 16 устройств.

· I2C ( IIC) port предназначен для связи интегральных схем, он же является последовательной шиной. Имеет четыре контакта, обозначенных SCL (Serial Clock), SDA (Serial Data), “-”, “+”. Благодаря этому порту появляется возможность подключать дополнительный микроконтроллер и производить с ним обмен данными.

· RS232 interface (последовательная шина COM порта) можно передавать данные на компьютер через USB порт. Интерфейс имеет четыре контакта TX, RX, “-”, “+”

· LCD parallel port (параллельный порт ж.к. дисплея) имеет 14 контактов. Описание контактов можно найти на фотографии на нашем сайте.

· LSD serial port ( последовательный порт подключения ж.к. дисплея) имеет 6 контактов, его описание указано на фотографии.

Плата расширения питается как от микроконтроллера Ардуино, так и от внешнего источника питания. Когда подается напряжение, загорается индикатор. Плату расширения можно перевести в режим питания от внешнего источника, для этого нужно установить перемычку на контакты, обозначенные SEL. Smiley’s Workshop 50: Fritzing With Arduino – Part 2

Что я сделал, так это закрыл свой ноутбук, чтобы взять его куда-нибудь с собой, а когда я снова открыл ноутбук – НИЧЕГО! Просто черный экран и заброшенная стрелка, которую моя мышь не двигала.

Часто у нас есть детали с выводами, расположенными по центру 0,1 дюйма, поэтому давайте создадим сетку, в которой части можно перемещать, и приземлимся на точки 0,1 дюйма относительно друг друга. Теперь переместим эти части в разумные положения и добавим провода. Первое, что вы заметите, это то, что каждый раз, когда вы пытаетесь схватить деталь, вы в конечном итоге берете Arduino! Чтобы предотвратить это, вы щелкните правой кнопкой мыши часть Arduino, выберите «Заблокировать часть», затем нажмите «Поднять или опустить». Выберите опцию «Отправить на задний план». Теперь вы можете переместить другие части, которые находятся поверх заблокированного слоя Arduino.

Линии, соединяющие контакты, называются крысиным гнездом (хотя я не могу представить, почему), и они действуют как резиновые ленты, указывая, куда должны идти провода печатной платы. Ваша цель – свести крысиное гнездо к минимуму, чтобы провода были как можно короче. Затем обратите внимание, что на клемме батареи нет индикатора того, какой контакт идет на GND, а какой – на линию +3 вольта батареи, поэтому я щелкаю правой кнопкой мыши метку VCC1 для той части, которая дает мне показанное окно в Рисунок 14 .

Затем я изменяю VCC1 на «GND +3». Я поворачиваю текст и помещаю его рядом с разъемом, как показано на Рис. 15 .

Fritzing имеет автоматический маршрутизатор, но мы не будем его использовать, так как это очень маленькая плата, и я считаю, что маршрутизация довольно интуитивно понятна. Вы просто нажимаете на булавку, перемещаете провод к следующему соединению и отпускаете его. Рисунок 16 показывает, что произошло, когда я подключил выводы VCC, GND и кристалла.

Затем я заметил то, что должен был увидеть раньше (будь я внимателен). На пути к DS1307 провода батареи будут пересекаться друг с другом, что потребует либо двух слоев, либо какой-то необычной прокладки. Кроме того, провод I2C слева к R1 от Arduino не имеет достаточно места для прокладки. Итак, я перевернул клемму аккумулятора, переместил резисторы вверх и попытался снова.

Я не мог понять, как изменить размер сетки, поэтому отключил ее и осторожно проложил провода. Как опытный дизайнер печатных плат, я сразу заметил кое-что довольно пугающее. Провода на печатной плате называются следами. Следы и контактные площадки справа от DS1307 выглядят так, как будто они закорочены. По моему опыту, я могу установить размер дорожек и контактных площадок так, чтобы обычно можно было прокладывать дорожку между выводами микросхемы, но это точно не похоже, что здесь это сработает.Означает ли это, что мне придется использовать два слоя, чтобы я мог опустить эти провода на дно и провести их вверх и снова?

Что ж, будем надеяться, что Fritzing показывает нам не то, что он генерирует для окончательного файла печатной платы. Итак, нажмите «Export for PCB» и «Etchable (PDF)», как показано на Рисунок 18 .

Хорошо, я привык к тому, что у меня есть возможность устанавливать размеры площадки и трассировки, но Фритцинг, похоже, не готов к этому. Давайте перенаправим тревожные следы на противоположную сторону и посмотрим, что у нас получится.

Чтобы исправить это, мы нажимаем на проблемные следы и меняем сторону снизу вверх, как показано на Рисунок 20 .

Затем перенаправьте их вверх и снова к клемме батареи, НО обратите внимание, что у нас все еще есть проблема, поскольку эти следы должны пересекаться – если мы не перевернем клемму батареи назад, как это было вначале (вздох!). Да, я мог бы с самого начала показать все это в правильном порядке, но я думаю, что полезно увидеть реальные проблемы, с которыми я столкнулся, и то, как я их исправил.Полученные в результате верхний и нижний слои показаны на Рисунок 21 .

Спросите себя, является ли это окончательной разводкой или, возможно, вы можете внести некоторые незначительные изменения и убрать все провода с одной стороны платы. Что ж, это возможно, но поскольку моя цель здесь – создать дизайн печатной платы, который можно будет отправить на фабрику (где работу будет делать кто-то другой), мы просто оставим это.

Я должен сказать, что создание платы со всем этим свободным пространством и всем верхним рядом выводов Arduino вызывает у меня дрожь – так много потраченного впустую места. Поскольку мы делаем щит Arduino, нам действительно нужны все эти контакты, чтобы мы могли – теоретически – установить еще один щит поверх того, который мы делаем. Отправка в PCB House

Viewplot дает вам возможность внимательно осмотреть каждый слой перед отправкой на фабрику. Я не буду вдаваться в подробности того, как использовать Viewplot, поскольку он довольно интуитивно понятен.

Наша плата довольно проста и не вызывает никаких потенциальных проблем, поэтому давайте отправим эти файлы в BatchPCB и дадим им возможность запустить их через некоторые программы, которые ищут распространенные ошибки.

Вперед к BatchPCB

Посмотрите на www.BatchPCB.com и познакомьтесь с тем, что они делают. У них есть чем помочь. Давайте поместим все наши файлы Gerber в один zip-файл, который мы назовем Breadboard_RTC.zip. Этот экран выводит стандартные контакты ввода-вывода Arduino на разъемы вместе с выделенными контактами заземления и питания для каждого ввода-вывода для облегчения подключения датчиков к другим устройствам.

Экран также имеет ряд специальных разъемов, которые определены для определенных целей, как описано ниже, но их также можно рассматривать как точки подключения общего назначения.

Вспомогательный разъем питания позволяет раздельно подавать питание на выводы питания, связанные с выводами D0-D13, что удобно для управления серводвигателями.

Переключатель дистанционного сброса расположен на щите для облегчения доступа. Он также подносит встроенный светодиодный индикатор «L» к экрану для облегчения обзора.

Система питания

Одним из преимуществ этого экрана является то, что он выводит каждый из стандартных контактов ввода-вывода Arduino на 3-контактные разъемы вместе с выделенным контактом заземления и Vcc.

Контакты VCC, связанные с A0-A5, а также разные разъемы ввода-вывода, подключены к источнику питания Arduino 5V. Датчики обычно нуждаются в максимально чистом питании, поэтому имеет смысл оставить их на Arduino 5V.

Контакты VCC, связанные с D0-D13, управляются перемычкой SEL .

Перемычка SEL установлена. = Питание 5V Arduino также подключено к этим контактам. Этот режим облегчает использование цифровых датчиков и других устройств ввода-вывода с низким энергопотреблением.

Перемычка SEL удалена = Питание Arduino 5 В отключено, и питание для контактов должно подаваться от отдельного источника питания, подключенного к 2-контактной винтовой клемме. Это обычно используется, когда серводвигатели приводятся в действие, чтобы их можно было запитать от отдельного источника питания, поскольку они превышают допустимую по току встроенную 5 В, а серводвигатели создают слишком много электрического шума обратно в электрическую систему Arduino.

VCC = Положительное напряжение от отдельного источника питания. Обычно 5-6 В для сервоприводов, но может быть и другое напряжение в зависимости от требований системы.

Примечание. При установленной перемычке SEL не должно подаваться внешнее питание на 2-контактный винтовой зажим, в противном случае это может привести к повреждению, так как это приведет к короткому замыканию внешней и бортовой систем питания.

Разъемы цифрового ввода / вывода

Эта группа заголовков просто выводит линии цифрового ввода-вывода с D0 по D13 и соединяет их с выделенным контактом заземления и VCC. Перемычка SEL определяет мощность, которая подается на контакты VCC, как указано выше.

Результаты нашей оценки:

Качество сборки на этих сборках хорошее.Заголовки не всегда полностью посажены и прямые, но мы проверяем каждый из них, чтобы убедиться, что они правильно выровнены.

Мы обнаружили на некоторых модулях на рынке, что контакты заземления на параллельном интерфейсе ЖК-дисплея и интерфейсе SD-карты фактически не подключены к земле из-за очевидной проблемы с разводкой печатной платы. Мы проверяем это и исправляем их при обнаружении, но если вы используете экран из другого источника и у вас есть проблемы с этими интерфейсами, вам следует дважды проверить заземляющие соединения, и в случае их отсутствия вам нужно будет подключить эти контакты к земле.
